Visitors can encounter the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with hundreds of other animal species and over 500 bird species. The park features a variety of accommodation options, from basic campsites to luxurious lodges, catering to different preferences and budgets.
Kruger is famous for its self-drive safaris, guided game drives, and walking safaris, making it a premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers.
God's Window, located in Mpumalanga, South Africa, offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Lowveld and the Kruger National Park.
Perched on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment, this popular lookout point provides visitors with a stunning vista of lush forests, rolling hills, and distant mountain ranges. The name "God's Window" reflects the awe-inspiring natural beauty and sense of grandeur that can be experienced from this vantage point.
Accessible via a short walk from the parking area, the site also features scenic trails that lead to other viewpoints and offer opportunities to explore the area's rich flora and fauna. It's a must-visit destination for those seeking to immerse themselves in the splendour of South Africa's natural landscapes.

📌God’s Window:
God’s Window is located on the R534 approximately 9 km from Graskop. Its nearest Panorama Route attractions are the Lisbon Falls and Berlin Falls, and the Blyde River Canyon.
On the edge of a cliff face that drops a dizzying 700+ m to the ground below, God’s Window offers spectacular views from the edge of the Great Escarpment (Drakensberg) across the Kruger National Park to the distant Lebombo Mountains on the border with Mozambique. This sheer cliff edge stretches relatively unbroken for approximately 250 km, and marks the divide with the Kruger Lowveld region of Mpumalanga.
As far as the eye can see there are forests, grasslands, distant mountains, blue skies and fresh sweet-smelling air.
📌Bourkes Luck Potholes:
Located within Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, Bourke’s Luck Potholes were formed by centuries of swirling whirlpools at the confluence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers, eroding away the sandstone bedrock. Named after Tom Bourke, an unsuccessful gold prospector working in the area, this natural attraction comprises a series of interconnected cylindrical pools divided by sandstone outcrops.
Viewing platforms and bridges cross above some of the best formations, and depending on the time of day, river levels and mineral content in the water, the view of the holes and multi-coloured sandstone changes.
There are intertwined walkways and bridges that offer multiple viewpoints and of course fantastic photo opportunities.
📍 Enjoy sunrise and sunset game drives to explore this wildlife-rich corner of the Kruger National Park.
🍴 We arrive back for breakfast and a rest.
📍 We head out again late this afternoon to catch the sunset viewing. Scores of lions, leopards and cheetahs have made this area their home, so the big cats are comfortable in the presence of game vehicles, allowing for incredible close-ups.
📍 This morning after breakfast we seek out the fantastic range of wildlife that the Kruger offers including all of the ‘Big 5’, namely elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.
🍴 After lunch, we will head back to view the diverse flora and fauna of the National Park on an afternoon game drive.
📍 This morning after breakfast we will drive back and visit the Mac Fall’s and Pilgrims Rest, a quaint town that has been declared a national monument. Here, visitors can relive the days of the old Transvaal gold rush.
We arrive back at your hotel in Johannesburg enriched by our experiences.
📍 This morning after breakfast, meet our tour guide in the lobby with our luggage for our transfer home or to continue with your tour if you’ve chosen any add-on extensions.
South Africa is one of the best places to see the “Big Five”—lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants, and Cape buffalo. These iconic animals are a major draw for safari-goers seeking the ultimate wildlife experience.
South Africa boasts a range of ecosystems, from savannas and grasslands to wetlands and coastal regions. This diversity supports a wide variety of wildlife, making each safari unique depending on the area you visit.
As one of Africa’s largest game reserves, Kruger National Park spans nearly 20,000 square kilometers. It’s home to over 147 species of mammals, more than 500 species of birds, and a vast array of plants, providing an immersive wildlife experience.
Many safari lodges offer night drives, allowing visitors to experience the bush after dark. This is a great opportunity to see nocturnal animals, such as hyenas, bushbabies, and leopards, that are rarely seen during the day.
Many safari excursions in South Africa incorporate community tourism, where visitors can engage with local cultures and contribute to conservation efforts. This helps support local communities and creates a more sustainable tourism experience.
🦁 This safari offers an unforgettable adventure through breath-taking landscapes and diverse wildlife, providing both exhilarating experiences and a deeper connection to nature.
